I can order game lots off Ebay and the average price per game ordered is roughly $1.50 a game. I shop primarily two places Ebay and Amazon. This is prime time to buy generation six video games, its been ten years since publishers stopped producing for Playstation 2 era, and with the economy just getting back on its feet games are nearly the lowest they will be. Two factors are weighing on the price of retro games right now: time and the economy. Right now in 2015 is a wonderful time to buy retro video games, and is the time if you want to expand your collection to do so. Now this is the point I want to make with this post: I sold them for more than I bought them. Six out of these seven games I previously owned, and when I was in a shittier time of my life, I liquidated most of my game collection for fast cash. All the disk games were complete and purchased off amazon, the entire thing cost me about forty dollars.
This month I bought seven games Mega Man X Collection PS2, Resident Evil GC, Beavis and Butt-Head SNES, Judge Dredd SNES, Red Faction PS2, Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter PS2, and Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3 PS2.
I always buy in bulk and the majority of my shopping happens online because we live in the future. I usually switch between video games one month, board games the next, then movies. Every month I allot myself an average of fifty dollars to buy fun things in bulk.
